Catch a train to Newport railway station of the Werribee or Williamstown line. Walk down North Road past Newport Park at the traffic lights. Turn right into The Strand where South Pacific Health Club is on the corner. Continue along The Strand, either on the footpath or walking track along the water. Past The Anchorage Restaurant, the cannons, Williamstown cenotaph to Commonwealth Reserve and Gem Pier, where HMAS Castlemaine is moored.
