During this walk we got a feel for the streets of Brighton and got to experience the landscape and buildings along Elwood beach.

Points of Interest
1. Pier
This pier has a beautiful view looking out on to Elwood beach. It can be used fora nd was being used to hold a ceremony for a wedding because of the great views.It is also used for fishing.
2. 2 North road
Along Elwood beach there are many houses with sea views including this house. It's also one of the few beaches in bayside that has houses right along the foreshore unlike beach road.
3. North Point Cafe
North point cafe is a popular cafe opposite the beach. it also backs onto to North Road Reserve. It is a popular spot for lunch and breakfast for both locals and people visiting the area.
4. North Point Playground
North Point Playground is opposite North Point Cafe and is a popular spot for families with young children. It is shaped as a pirate ship and is a great spot for kids.
5. Beach
Until this point the water comes up to the wall so there is no sand. this point was a part of our transect made we made and is also where we spotted a lot of the local wildlife.
6. Path
This path is very popular for both runners and walkers because of the scenery. It is also separated from bikes as there is a separate bike path. the path continues along the foreshore.
7. Foreshore house
This is an example of how close the houses are to the beach. You can also the the local vegetation which is plentiful along the foreshore.
