Description
If one starts in the morning at the Stonehouse Cafe Bus Stop on Warrandyte-Ringwood Rd walk along the quiet Yarra River track until Everard Drive. Be careful if it is wet as the clay on the tracks can be slippery. You can stop for coffee on the way. Make sure you visit the numerous vista spots along the river. Then go up Taroona Ave and along Heidelberg-Warrandyte Rd-Yarra St. Venture up Blair St & McCulloch St/Government Rd entering into Warrandyte State Park. Follow the horse Track uphill to the Reservoir Circuit and then head down hill to Tunnel St. Turn left into Webb St until you reach the next park on your right. Continue down this track until it enters the last section, Russell Rd which ends back at Warrandyte-Ringwood Rd. Time for lunch?
