As part of the Active Craigieburn Project, organisers have arranged a photo walking audit of Craigieburn. The route includes Craigieburn Gardens, trail along the creek, main roads & local streets
The photo walking audit will meet at the Youth Room, located next to the Leisure Centre.
The Craigieburn Leisure centre is another good starting point for walking groups, with a café in the foyer.
The walk leaves the Youth Room and enters Craigieburn Gardens. Walk past new free exercise stations installed around the pathways.
Continue down and along Aiken Creek, this is a dog off leash area.
This trail will lead you out onto Bridgewater Road, walk back up towards Craigieburn Road and cross at the lights.
From here, head towards Selwyn house, an important landmark in this community. Selwyn house provides for community groups, delivers education courses and links people into the community.
Walk around the football oval, past the church and back towards the leisure centre where the walk concludes at the starting point.
This walk is fantastic to do with a group, on your own or with your pet.

This is a good starting point for this walk, with a caf in the foyer. Gym, aerobics, indoor pool, basketball / netball courts, squash courts.
The Youth Room is the meeting place for the Photo Walking Audit, located next to the leisure centre. This is a snazzy space with couches, kitchen facilities and a great social area.
New free to use exercise stations have been installed along the paths. This is a great place to walk your dog, with an off leash area by the creek.
