This walk has both managed walking paths, short road section and bush trail links that join the Merbein Common walking trail along the Murray River. Perfect for bike riding or walking this is an interesting landscape that has changed over time but was originally a wetland connected to the Murray River and follows the creek from Lake Hawthorn to the Murray. Other walks can link to Lake Ranfurly and the Mildura end of Ranfurly Way.
