The Gembrook Park Trail is located just south of the small township in the Dandenong Ranges, Gembrook, on 280,000 square meters of bush reserve. It is in close proximity to cafes, restaurants and the Gembrook Remembrance Park, just off War Memorial Drive. The trail consists of two walks, the Fern Gully Walk(1.5km) and the Hillside Walk(1.2km). Whilst on the tracks, you are able to embrace the native and foreign flora and fauna of Gembrook, including wombats, lyrebirds, spiders, snails, slugs, Mountain Grey Gum trees and Mountain Ash Trees. You are also able to take advantage of the public toilets, playground and picnic facilities. Prior to the walk, an information board with history of the park and surrounding areas, information regarding the flora and fauna that can be observed whilst on the walk and a map of the area is provided.

Opposite the onsite car parking is an information board with a map of the whole track, a brief history on the park and its surrounding areas and information about the native flora and fauna.
After a relaxing walk, take advantage of the open picnic area whilst still taking in the beautiful views the Gembrook Park has to offer.
For your convenience, there are public toilet facilities opposite the information board, or at the beginning of the tracks.
Keep the whole family happy with the help of a playground on the outskirts of the Gembrook Park, whilst mum and dad relax on the park benches.
The Gembrook Park Trail is within walking distance to transport, for those who wish to further explore this small township in the Dandenong Ranges.
The Gembrook Park Trail is opposite the Remembrance Park, which is off War Memorial Drive.
Be sure to keep an eye out for the native and foreign flora in the Gembrook Park, including Mountain Grey Gums, Mountain Ash,Rough Tree Fern, Blackberry bushes and English Holly.
The Gembrook Park has a wide variety of native fauna, including the most common, wombats, lyrebirds, possoms, spiders, snails, but be careful of snakes that may be lurking in the bushes during summer.
For your convenience, the Gembrook Park has onsite car parking. It is located opposite the information board and can be accessed from Gembrook Road.
The Gembrook Park Trail is very well sign posted, making it easier to determine which track is which and where you are going.
