A short walk along Merlynston Creek
Starting at the car park at the entry to the Jack Roper Reserve off Camp Road walk south through the reserve, around the lake and under the Western Ring Road, then around the CSL pond. Retrace your steps then up the creek to Seabrook Reserve. You can walk back the other side of the creek to the car park.

The lake doesn't appear to hav e a name, perhaps b because the City of Hume defines it as a 'water retention facility'.
This pond was built at the time of the CSL plasma fractionation facility across the Western Ring Road
Other uses may be entertained.
View across to the distant Dandenongs
Alternative point to start the walk, but further east along Camp Rd is a more convenient car park.
Creek flows attractively through grassland here.
