A park walk to enjoy with children and/or dogs. Enjoy the Stony Creek and open space of the area.
This walk has two playgrounds including Mimi the Muttabuttasaurus at McNish Reserve. It has a creek that dogs (permitted off leash except between 8am-10am and 3pm-5pm everyday) can enjoy and kids can cross on stepping stones. It has beautiful eucalypts, bird life and in spring you can hear the pobblebonk frogs calling!
The park also has a BMX track, tennis courts, a free little library and a community garden.

A great playground with areas for bigger and smaller kids. Note: in this area of the park dogs must on lead at all times.
At this point you can choose which direction you head around the park. Head over the bridge to walk clockwise or stay on the concrete path to go anticlockwise.
This area is also good for kids to explore.
A good spot for dogs to cool down in summer. You can cross the creek here via a 'rock hop'.
Another decision point. Take the bridge over the creek and turn left to shortcut the circuit. If you would like a longer walk (next section is gravel and you need to cross the creek via a rock hop).
Looking North.
This part takes you around the BMX track and public tennis courts.
Fun for little kids and big kids!
Have a hit!
If you don't want to do this part you can either choose to stay on the concrete path earlier (point 6), or head back to the bridge along the concrete path.
Check out Mimi the Muttabuttasaurus. Slide through her guts, growl from her jaws or pretend to hatch more Mimi's from the Dino eggs.
Have a picnic and bring a book to swap at the little library!
Good for pooches who need a proper swim/cool off.
These are dotted around the park in case you want to add an extra workout to your walk. From here head back towards the bridge to the west and turn right to get back to the beginning.
