Description

A picturesque walk located 6kms south of Daylesford. Take the fabulous new Parks Victoria stairs down to the creek trail, falls and mineral springs where this lovely forested loop walk begins.

While the loop track is relatively short you may want to stop and pump some mineral water along the way! This is a great walk to do at any time of year, although it can be slippery in parts when wet because much of the track is unsealed.

History buffs may want to head in an anti-clockwise direction where one of the first points of interest is Sailors Falls and a plaque describing how locals enjoyed the area a century ago.

Dogs may accompany you on this walk but must be on-lead! Toilet facilities (rather rudimentary) are located in the car park at the top of the stairs.

Check signage at spring as at some times of the year the water is not recommended for drinking, and authorities will advise.
