Description
An hour walk through the lovely parks and streets of Yarraville; full of period homes, leafy streets, well kept parks and a collection of Street Libraries where you can swap and share your books with the community. Walk is both pram and disability friendly - although does require crossing of at least one main road. At peak traffic times using the pedestrian crossing at Cnr Francis and Williamstown Roads is recommended.

1. Mimi the Muttabuttasaurus
A great playground for pre-school aged children, complete with a resident dinosaur.
2. Site of the Sinking Village
Site of the 'Sinking Village'. In 1973 40 units were built atop of an old quarry that had been filled with waste from the sugar factory . Within a few weeks they began sinking & were soon inhabitable
3. Former Site of the Leggos Chemical Works
Now Coles Supermarket, but previously proudly “the largest producer of arsenic in the Southern hemisphere”.
