Stroll along the Yarra and through several parklands all the way to leafy, green Eltham!
Start: Wombat Bend Playspace, Duncan Street in Templestowe Lower. This beautiful playground is nestled on a bend in the river. You'll cross the suspension bridge over the river (great place to spot playpus at dusk) across to the Main Yarra Trail, whihc you follow to the generous Westerfolds Park.
Highlights: Westerfolds Park, Lower Eltham Park and Bushland Reserve. Griffith Park and Sweeneys Flats. Wander past Montsalvat. Diamond Creek trail, Alistair Knox Park, historic Eltham trestle bridge. Finish your walk at the Eltham shops and train station.

Just to the south of Wombat Bend an alternative walk is - 'the Heidelberg School Artists Trail'
