The walk begins along the base of the east side of Honeysuckle Rise - the River Walk is signposted off to your right. The path wanders through the natural bushland, taking you to a viewpoint of the Broken River with picnic table.
Winding your way back toward the main path, you can detour along the Billabong Walk, bringing you out to the Children's Garden with its eclectic range of recycled play equipment.
From there, you can head back to the starting point, or continue along to join the Native Forest walk and discover the Terrace Garden on the western slopes of Honeysuckle Rise.
NOTE: Dogs are not permitted in the gardens.
