This Spring Victoria Walks and The Y (Boroondara) are connecting local women who enjoy walking.

On this walk we'll be discovering some of the lovely green spaces in Hawthorn.

Just because your local parks aren't huge it doesn't mean you can't get out for a big, long walk in nature!

The five green spaces on this walk route offer lovely walking paths, seating and a variety of garden styles. We'll visit a a linear park along the old railway branch line. The parklands are connected by easy and pleasant walking. The whole route can be readily traversed pushing a pram.

Water and public toilets are available along the way. Dogs should be on a leash unless otherwise specified. We will be using signalised pedestrian crossings to get across Power Street but other streets are smaller streets with less traffic.

Well serviced by public transport, you can pick up this route at multiple points either by train from Hawthorn or Glenferrie stations, or the No 109, 75 or 16 tram.

Our meeting Point: St James Park (Hawthorn), corner of Burwood Road and Barton Street (near the public toilets).

Car parking at Barton Street (St James Park)
Restricted 1-hour parking on East side of the streets ends at 6pm.
There is also car parking on the west side of Barton Street along the park, The 4-hour limit ends at 6pm.
