This circuit walk begins and ends at Moomba Park, where you'll find a playground, fenced off-leash dog park, drinking fountain, picnic tables and carpark.
The walk takes in wide open spaces, a beautiful new wetland, and a quiet and secluded section of the Merri Creek with interesting geological features. Paths are a mixture of concrete, gravel and informal track - nothing very rough but there could be muddy and slippery sections after wet weather.
Dogs must be on lead within 1 metre of shared paths and footpaths and within 15 metres of children's playgrounds. Dogs are not allowed in creeks or waterways.

Have a drink from the drinking fountain before you get moving! Then turn left.
This is one of several park bench artworks along the Merri, all celebrating local biodiversity. This one features a Superb Blue Fairy Wren - we saw lots of these on our walk!

Here we leave the concrete path. It shouldn't be very rough, but there could be some muddy and slippery sections during wet periods.
Our route continues along the same side of the creek, but if you want to explore you can cross the bridge into Reservoir.
