There are branches overhead. No low branches were present. The path is 1.8 meters wide with space for wheelchair turning, side by side travel and passing.

There are grey bollards on the asphalt path at the Pebble Beach Trailhead entry with a 1.2 meter gap. The path has shallow drop offs to gravel, dirt or grass.

There are no road crossings as such. There are 2 driveway crossings to dirt riverside car parks. Also, cars may cross the path to picnic tables and other riverside locations. Generally, traffic is slow.

Shorter return walks can be arranged using different pick up and drop off points between Keiwa Valley Highway and Pebble Beach Trail car park. Mobile phone coverage is good.

Rest areas
There are many large trees for shade along the path, but most of it is exposed to the weather. There are built shelters near the Keiwa Valley Highway that require grass crossing. Seating along the path consists of non-roll under bench style picnic tables or seats with back and armrests. These are often on a concrete base with lips and accessed across grass or gravel.

Many people swim and play in the river. It can have fast currents. There is a caravan park on the opposite bank.

Food and drinks can be purchased at nearby Mt Beauty shops 0.6 kilometres from the Keiwa Valley Highway intersection with Embankment Drive.

Dogs should be on a leash. Cyclists may share the path.

The nearest accessible drinking water fountain and accessible toilet are located at the Mt Beauty Pondage picnic area 1.5 kilometres along Embankment Drive. Carry water.

Parking
