Description
Begin at Ruffey Lake Playground off The Boulevarde, and continue walking towards Bonview Wetland. There is a sign at the beginning of the wetland which will detail a Green and Blue Track. Follow the Blue marked loop, which will take you by the lake and wetland, with minimal hills and plenty of seating and water fountains. Follow the loop until you come across a board walk. You have the option to either follow the path up a small hill and circle around the lake, or you can cross the boardwalk over the lake and rejoin the Blue loop. there are slight hills, and some areas of the path can experience washaway if there has been heavy rain. Along this area of the loop there are optional pathways to cross over Ruffey creek and shorten the loop, otherwise just continue along the marked track, following the Blue loop. Eventually you will walk towards the Ruffey Lake Park Playground, where there are toilet amenities and seats to rest.
