This walk was very social because there was lots of interaction between cars and pedestrians ad there was lots of shops and parks.

Description

This walk has lots of health and safety issues such cracks in footpaths, footpaths are too narrow and generally very dirty streets. However this walk still has lots of postives such as assiting peoples needs with facilities for blind, disabled and elderly people.

1. Artwork

This is a positive because on this walk you get to see street art which is beautiful and interesting, this encourages walking becuase it makes you feel happy which is healthy. Intersection of Bell st

2. Cracks in the footpath

This is a negative because it is very dangerous because there is lots of destruction to the tiles and someone could trip,slip and get cut or hurt. This was on the corner of Hanover street.

3. Rusty Bench

This is a negitive because this is very dirty and disgusting. It is uninviting which is not good because people want to sit down but shouldnt have to second guess whether to or not. Johnston st.

4. Narrow Footpath

This is a negitive because only 2 or 3 people could fit on the pathway at once, and it would be extremly hard for people with wheelchairs. This was on Kent st.

5. Great place for young and old!

It is located near a park which is great for children and adults to play and have picnics at. There is also a nearby museum and tennis courts. This was outside and arcoss our school.

6. Cigarette Bins

This cigarette bin is a positive because it's good for the enviroment because people are less tempted to put their cigarettes on the floor. People are inhaling fresh air. This was on Princes st

7. Special Facilities

This is a positive because this shows that Fitzroy is considering people with special needs and they are applying facilities which will help them in their life, we saw many of these. Gertrude st.
