Dandenong Park is the nearest green open space to the Dandenong CBD and it accommodates many activities, that there is something for everyone as well as a good walk.
Facilities along this walk are great. There are barbeques, a newly installed playground, football and cricket grounds, an outdoor sound shell and performance stage, toilets, plenty of seating, shade, and the croquet and bowls clubs.
Main features of Dandenong Park include Shepley Oval, the Dandenong Creek Bike Trail, the arched suspension bridge, indigenous River Red Gum trees, the 130 year old Oak tree and Dandenong Creek the runs the length of the park.
