Starting at Rupanyup Post Office, follow up Gibson Street to the entrance opposite the Recreation Reserve and north into the bushland adjacent the old Flour Mill then onto the scenic Jack's Track which runs along under shady tree lined avenues around paddocks, in a loop, and beside dams and across Frayne Avenue, the parallel to the road south before returning to the Post Office.

The Old Rupanyup flour mill, a four storey timber and iron structure on a brick base, was built 1906 for the flour miller George Frayne. It is no longer a mill but the silos are used.
The Post Office opened on 22 February 1875 as Karkarooc and was renamed Rupanyup in 1876
