Summary

The walk was about exploring the different locations in the suburb of Prospect. Our aim was to look for places that could be could be added to Popplet as well as taking pictures of the area.

The walk was started off by walking to St Helen's Park were told to take photos and played on the equipment there. We then walked to Prospect Oval where we noticed various churches during the walk. Later we took pictures and had a short water break. We then headed off to the mall where we had lunch at the fish and chips store for roughly 15 minutes, where we decided to head down to Cibo where we could get some coffee and ice cream while finishing off our lunch. This was a perfect time to record the places and what we have seen down. Some students wanted to buy and eat sushi which was a few minutes away. We then walked back to St Helen's where we started and played around for a bit before walking back to school and finished the day after Lesson 7.

Points of Interest

1. Our first destination, St Helen's Park

This was the start of our Prospect walk, which was the walk to St Helen's Park where we had to investigate whether it was safe & fun for children to play on their playground by playing on it ourselves

2. Walk to Prospect Oval/Memorial Gardens

After our fun break as St Helen's Park we then walked to our next destination, the Prospect Oval. During this walk to the Prospect Oval most of us saw various churches.

3. Fish and Chips for Lunch

When we were finished with looking at the oval we walked to the Coles Supermarket where we then bought lunch just outside Coles at a fish and chips store. We also took a 15 minute break to eat.

4. Coffee and Ice cream at Cibo

After the 15 minute break we walked to Cibo to buy some coffee and ice cream while continuing to finish off our lunch if we already haven't.

5. Lets eat some Sushi

Some students wanted to eat sushi which was close by Cibo so we crossed the road and they bought some in the Sushi store.

6. Nearly finished with the Walk

After we finished buying all our food, drinks and ice cream we walked back to St Helen's Park where we either finished off our remaining food or we played in the playground.
