The walk was easy for an 11 yr old skateboard considering he knows how to look for on coming traffic. The area is lacking the facilities to recognize the environment as safe for all pedestrians in different situations. The museum building is well-maintained and has a variety of facilities; however, as the area spans out from the place with most human habitation, the environment is regarded less.

The Museum and Art Gallery is the main museum in the Northern Territory. This museum has had many beautiful galleries there. It has a cyclone Tracy exhibit there , it shows then and now pictures.
The cornucopia cafe is located right next to the museum. It has a wonderful view of the ocean and the food there is delicious. It is easy to get to because of the well maintained footpaths.
The boat ramp can be a hazard to a skateboarder, due to the lack of a footpath and the uneven surface of the road.
There is a seating area for skateboarders to rest. There is shade because of the large trees inhabited there. However, there is no footpath to use and the road and many bumps in it.
Vesteys Beach makes this walk pleasant due to the lovely views. The footpaths near the beach are easy to ride on.,
This bridge is a danger to skateboarders because there are no railings and the ground before and after the bridge is uneven. There is litter all through the garden areas.
