Description

The trail officially starts at Jells Park and ends in the Melbourne CBD, however the Scotchman's creek trail can be started and finished at various locations for example Stephens Rd, Mt Waverly to Warrigal Rd, Chadstone. This route is approximately 4.13km and includes many interesting features that can be enjoyed by any age.

Points of Interest

1. Tunnel Reserve

This is a tunnel that runs for approximately 200 meters under the Monash Freeway (M1), when walking though the tunnel you are confronted with pieces of local artwork from within the community.

2. Huntingdale Wetlands

An area of lush grass and flowing water surrounded by magnificent wildlife. This area is ideal for having a picnic, stopping to feed the ducks or having a rest and enjoying the view.

3. Exercise Equipment

For those who like a bit of a challenge there are many opportunity's throughout the entire walk. The exercise equipment ranges from pull up bars, balance beams, to 1.5 meter walls to tackle.

4. A place to relax and take photos

There are many photo opportunity's throughout the entire walk, however this spot stands out as one of the best as it provides good shade for photos and excellent backdrops.

5. Resting Area

A place to sit down, refuel, discuss (chit chat) and prepare for the end of the walk

6. Little tackers play ground

This is a excellent area for little kids or the big kids with little hearts, offering an excellent well shaded play ground with a range of play equipment and an extensive picnic area for families.
