Summary

For our SOSE project our class went for a walk to see how walkable the area around Tyndale Christian School was.

Description

We walked out of Tyndale Christian School and walked left on London Drive. We then walked right onto Sunhill Street then turned right onto Gloucester Avenue until we reached Smith road, where the traffic lights are. We then crossed the road and walked back onto London Drive and back to Tyndale. On the walk we looked out for positive and negative things on the street that make the area walkable.

The footpath throughout London Drive is uneven which makes it harder to walk on and can cause people to drip.

No footpath on one side of Sunhill Street has caused people to make a path through the dirt.

The wide footpath on the corner of Sunhill street gives enough room for people to pass each other while still on the path.
