The focus group of this walkability audit is young parents with prams. While observing and surveining the suburb of Prospect , we will be looking out for these key features in which will help us asess the walkability of prospect for young parents with prams .

Pros- Well maintained footpaths/ Non-slip Shelter and seating available in most areas Safe road crossing Wide footpaths Good light Cons- No safety obstacles in place to slow down the traffic

2. Site 2: Milner St

Pros- Traffic was minimal Plenty of time to cross the road Cons- No seating, shelter No visibility of pedestrians No interesting features Not enough people around to make you feel safe

Pros: Plenty of shelter, rubbish and seating A lot of trees Good size crossings Footpaths are non slip Cons: Footpaths not wide enough for everyone to use No devices to slow traffic down
