For a different perspective of the bay take a look at the Webb Dock observation deck. Access is from the corner of Todd Road and The Boulevard where Life Saving Victoria has its headquarters.
Stroll along the boardwalk at the far end of Port Melbourne Beach then along the gravel path to the observation deck, which gives a higher perspective of the surroundings. Views across Hobsons Bay to Princess Pier and the City of Melbourne beyond are spectacular on a clear day.
