This is one of Sydney's best walks to five beautiful beaches along the coastline. It has stunning cliff top views!
The walk is 6 km long and easily accessible by public transport at either end and at Bronte and Clovelly Beaches as well. There are short sections of stairs, some are a little steep, but otherwise it is relatively easy.
There are toilets, seats and drinking water along the walk
It is easy to go for a swim at one of the beaches or sea baths along the way.
In short, this is a brilliant walk!
Walk includes two dog off-leash areas, otherwise it is on leash.

Bondi is possibly Australia's best know beach, it is about 1km long. "Bondi" or "Boondi" is an Aboriginal word meaning water breaking over rocks or noise of water breaking over rocks.
The swimming pool is managed by the Bondi Icebergs Swimming Club. The swimming club was established in 1929 and has a small museum on the first floor.
Its nice to get down and close to the sea, its fantastic when the sea is stormy!
The are many fabulous artworks along the walk (note this one might not be in the exact spot, but you can't miss it).

Great view around to Tamarama Rocks and on to Bronte.
There are some pretty impressive wildflowers wore, some native, some not, in Spring and early Summer. The path is pretty good here, nice and flat. Smell the sea air!
Looking back to the iconic Tararama Surf Life Saving Club. Beach volleyball is popular on this patrolled beach.
Bronte is a wonderful beach for a swim, but can be rough and have strong currents . On the day of this photo, the beach was closed because of the conditions.
Not as big as Bondi Bath, but the pool is great. We stopped for a dip (there are change rooms and cold showers).
Finally, in 2021 a new path was created for the 6,000 or so people who walk this path day (there was no path there before), photo @sara_stace .

The walk goes beside the historic Waverley Cemetery which is well worth a visit. Note in 2017/18 the walk goes through the cemetery while the path is being repaired after floods.
A wonderful view back to from where you have come.
You can stop for a cold drink or even play some barefoot bowls.

A great sheltered beach that good for swimming and snorkeling. Toilets, drinking water and a cafe nearby. Also a bus stops to Central Station of Bondi Junction are nearby if you are tired.
Nice bit of shade that is cooler on a hot day.
