Description

Find out more

This is a fairly easy walk through a range of different forest ecosystems to reach Henderson Falls.

You need to climb over a bit of a ridge between Sheoak and Henderson Creeks, but apart from that the walk is actually pretty flat, so you can relax and enjoy the beautiful forest. The ridge also gives you a taste of drier forest with different plants and trees compared to the damp rainforest alongside the streams.

The highlight is Henderson Falls - a beautiful waterfall 8-10 metres high. There is a small pool at the bottom of the waterfall and it is a really lovely spot to hang out.

Won Wondah Falls provide a pleasant stop on the way, although the falls themselves are not much to speak of.

The walk starts and ends at Sheoak Picnic Area which is a very nice spot with grassy areas and good facilities including BBQs. It is indeed a good place for a picnic.

Enjoy this easy wander through the forest!

Note:
- No camping, fires, dogs or other pets are allowed on this walk or at Sheoak Picnic Area.
