A walk incorporating beautiful views across Port Phillip Bay, a playground, historic steam tram station and even some local wildlife if you're lucky.
This walk follows the Sorrento foreshore from the long pier opposite (Coppin Rd) to the ferry terminal, where it turns off up the cliff to the historic tram station. Follow some of the original track and continue along the cliff top with beautiful views across Port Phillip Bay, past the original 1872 hotel and through to Sorrento Park and playground. Public toilets and places to sit are available along the way.

If you're lucky, you might get to see a pelican on your walk out along the Sorrento long pier.
The overcast day meant a full rainbow looking north east across Port Phillip Bay. This is a nice spot to sit on the sand and take a dip in the clear water if the weather permits.
The steps are a nice place to sit and watch the Queenscliff-Sorrento ferry. But watch out, the bottom step is slippery and you don't want to end up in the water unexpectedly!
The steps up the cliff take you to Policeman's Point and the historic tram platform. Info boards provide plenty of history while the tracks provide entertainment for the kids.
The clifftop walk provides plenty of opportunities to look out across Port Phillip Bay.
The wooden fort playground has lots to keep the kids interested and is set in parklands which is a lovely place to explore and spot different bird life.
