On this easy pram friendly walk, explore 5 Mile Creek, the Ceremonial Rock Circle and Moonee Ponds Creek. It can be done as a short walk or extended along the Moonee Ponds Creek trail.
Tucked away behind Pascoe Vale Road is this hidden treasure in Essendon. This walk allows you to really stretch your legs by continuing along the Moonee Ponds Creek trail in either direction.
You can also stop regularly to spot birds and native flowers. 5 Mile Creek Reserve has a BBQ, drinking water, a playground, picnic tables and rubbish bins. There are excellent small climbing trees near the playground for young children and lots of open grass for running, playing or relaxing. The ceremonial rock circle celebrates local aboriginal culture and is planted with native grasses, a beautiful place to sit and listen to country.
