A wooded area with many native species of Tree, shrub and grass. Home to many species of birds, reptiles and invertebrates. It is a haven of natural beauty located on the periphery of Albury. Nail Can Hill has many points of access, but this specific trail has good access from Monument Hill can could add a difficult element to anyone starting a hike from Monument Hill. The area is often used by mountain bikers, dog walkers and pedestrian locals as a recreation area. As you ascend the trail you will find various views overlooking both Albury and Wodonga. There are also some seating amenities available at some of these views. Which makes for some great places to have a secluded picnic with a view.

Several Quarries line Albury's Western hills. They were used to provide construction materials for the late 19th and early 20th century town.
In between the trees lay the exposed rock which is now visible thanks to millions of years of erosion.

At the end of the difficult unemployment track you will be rewarded with this view of West Albury.
Here you will find a good place to rest before heading back down the hill.
From here you will head down a ridge with views of Albury down below on either side of the trail.
As you head down the hill you will notice Monument Hill rising in front of you.
