Walk along both sides of the Moonee Ponds Creek between the foot bridge at Boeing Reserve and the foot bridge at Strathnaver Reserve/ J P Fawkner Reserve.
This walk takes in both sides of the Moonee Ponds Creek, with the shared trail on the west side and the grass/ dirt track along the Eastern side.
Walkers can start from the Boeing Reserve Car park or Devereaux St Oak Park to the north, or Strathnaver Reserve or JP Fawkner Reserve Car Parks to the South. Public toilets are between the pavilions at Boeing Reserve. Playgrounds are at Boeing Reserve, Bryant Family Reserve and between the ovals at J P Fawkner Reserve.
This is a lovely walk along the semi-natural section of the Moonee Ponds Creek. Highlights include the Strathnaver Grasslands, Horseshoe Bend and the track along the Eastern side.
Just a note of warning — much of the east side is dirt and grass only, and can get a bit boggy in the winter months or after rain!
