A brisk 6 min walk from the Hub. A great way to start your lunch break, when you need to stretch your legs or when you need a quick brain break.

Fresh air. A great way to start your lunch break, when you need to stretch your legs or when you need a quick brain break.
Exit the Youth Hub on Clarke St and turn right towards Hardy St.
At Hardy St turn right and head down the hill. At the small overpass opposite Market Place turn right and enter Lions Park.
As you enter Lions Park see if you can spot any veggies growing in the small garden, thanks to the local Gorilla Gardener.
Lions Park has just enjoyed a wonderful new makeover. There is some rock seating to the right that stretches along the Olinda Creek. A nice spot to have a coffee, or 5 mins listening to the river flowing.
Just before you exit Lions Park, make sure you stop and look at the public art mural on the right called The Suburban Bubble. It's vibrant and colourful and reflects some of the native flora and fauna found in the Yarra Ranges.
Make your way up the ramp. Turn right to head back to the Hub.
Turn left if you would like a quick detour for a bite to eat along the strip shops.
Try some of our other Inspiro Achievement Program Walks.

Let's move more at work.
Walking is not only great for our physical health, but there are many mental health and social benefits . Not to mention, taking a 15 min walk might help clear your head, help you stretch your legs, or offer an opportunity to have a walking meeting with a colleague.
As part of Inspiro's commitment to the Achievement Program, we have a range of walks to choose from depending on which Inspiro building you are working in. All of them cross through a local green space or community park.
Enjoy moving more at Inspiro.

Lions Park is a lovely park stretching between Main St and Hardy St Lilydale. It is just undergone a revamp and now has an accessible path, seating and public art
Take a moment to sit along the newly created seating next to the Olinda Creek. Choose from rock seating or the concrete plinth. Enjoy listening to the water or watching the birds. Nice and shady
Vibrant and full of life. This public art mural does not disappoint.
A great local shopping strip with fantastic coffee shops, a bakery and florist.
The upgrade of Lions Park also included the addition of an accessible ramp, ensuring more of the community can use the park and access the shops.
