Undertaking the trail:
The 6.7km walk that wraps around the Seaford Wetlands takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to complete and is open all year. The wetlands are a great destination to bird watch and take in the surrounding nature!
The walk is mostly flat and on a concrete trail meaning that it is relatively easy to complete and suitable for those of all ages and abilities. Whilst a small section of trail (near the creek) is unpaved, those wishing to avoid this can turn around and stick to the concrete paths.
Make sure to pack water and snacks for when needed as drinking water is not available. For those seeking additional food options, local cafes and restaurants are available on Station Street and Nepean Highway, roughly a 10-15 minute walk away. Park benches are scattered throughout the walk offering a place to sit. Toilets however are not available.
Pups can be brought along as this trail is dog-friendly.
