This is one of Bendigo's loveliest places to walk, so it's a great location for our Step10 Challenge program midweek morning walk.
We will do an easy-paced walk taking in a clockwise lap Lake Neangar and Lake Tom Thumb in Bendigo’s north, diverting slightly to enjoy the formal gardens of Canterbury Park.
Please meet at the BBQ area at the colourful Playspace 10 minutes beofre the walk is due to start.
Step10 Challenge is a free women's walking program for women living in and around Bendigo in Spring 2025. The program is run by Victoria Walks in partnership with City of Greater Bendigo, community partners and is supported by the Victorian Government's Together More Active program.

There are plenty of seats on this walk where you can look out over the lakes. This might possibly be the prettiest of them.
There are plenty of water birds to see on this walk, such as these shags who were resting as we passed by.
Part of the playground is for very small children, with these giant butterflies providing shade in the most lovely way.
There are some basic toilets near the entrance to Canterbury Park.
