Description

Start at the Bicycle & Traveller's Hub-92 Pine Ave walk down to Seventh Street, turn left, walk towards and cross Walnut Avenue. Cross the road at Walnut go over the railway tracks and walk towards the Bowling Green. Turn left at Cureton Ave and walk to the Rio Vista grounds. From there you walk back up to Ninth Street, turn left & walk to Pine Avenue and back to the Hub.

1. Arcade of trees

Start your walk through an arcade of shady trees.

2. Shady entrance to Railway Crossing

A lovely entrance as you enter the Ol' railway yards and to the crossing.

3. Local Bowling Club

The old local Bowling Club surround by well maintained greens that overlooks the Murray River.

4. Chaffey Bros Homestead

This historical homestead is magnificent, surrounded by open green spaces, adorned with local artworks. The Arts Museum & Arts Center Theatre is right next door. Stop for a rest to view this sight.

5. To view more greenery and old homes restored

Chaffey Avenue has some lovely old homes restored and surrounded by beautiful gardens and trees. It will be a pleasure to walk back.
