You can access the Rail Trail from either the Gippsland Vehicle Collection, Sale Road Maffra or from Stratford at the Apex Park. Toilets and car parking are available at Gippsland Vehicle Collection, Maffra.
The picnic facilities and medieval playground at Stratford Apex Park are perfect for a family outing. The Trail connects Stratford’s quaint main street with its unique shops and eateries to Maffra’s Johnson Street, featuring historic verandas, cafes and shops.
The walk is essentially flat with a good gravel surface and is elevated above roadway height. It includes several bridges and two road crossings.
