An assessment of the local Prospect suburb to determine the walkability and suitability of the area for a young family.
Along the walk six main ares were visited to access the suitability of the area based on the following criteria; footpaths facilities, crossing the road, traffic, safety and aesthetics.
The six sites visited were:
-St Helen's Park
-Milner Park
-BP Service Station
-Prospect Primary School
-Coles
-Prospect Oval/Park
Along the way, points of interest were noted including potential issues for walkability and other featues which enhance the suburb

A good place to take a break and have a bite to eat, and easy to get to by just crossing the street.

A co-ed Primary School with around 400 students. Easily walk able to drop of the kids. Address: 27 Gladstone Rd, Prospect SA 5082
Close to Prospect Primary School also very easy to get to.
Can cause traffic jams that can disrupt the crossings.
Open up area to picnic or to have a break, right next to some basketball courts and Prescott college, also includes a playground and Public Restrooms.

A good place to stop and have a picnic, it includes 2 electric Barbecues, a playground, Public Toilets and home for the Tennis Club.
