Points of Interest

1. Playground and soccer field

The soccer field was kept green and was cut at a good level, and the playground was small but was in good condition. Park good for locals near by ans was dog friendly.

2. Soccer field and street lights

4 lights were found at each end of the soccer field. These lights help light up the area at night when most needed.

3. Dog poo and litter

Dog poo and litter was found on both soccer field and playground. This was not very appealing for the public. if litter continues, more problems will occur.

4. Speed sign

The speed sign is there to tell the driver how fast he or she needs to be going to prevent any car accidents within the area.

5. Traffic lights

Traffic lights kept traffic more controlled and keep the pedestrians safe from vehicles.

6. Wrecked pathway

Anything smashed or wrecked doesn't represent a well looked after community. Not only is the pathway ruined, but it can now cause a tripping hazard for anyone walking along the pathway.

7. Not looked after grass

Not looked after grass was found in almost every area involving a footpath. It makes the area look bad and when grown is a great hiding place for animals such as lizards or even snakes in hot weather.

8. Damaged House Property

A damaged house is probably one of the worst ways to represent your area. It shows that the owners of the property can't be bothered to look after it and reflects on them as people.

9. Pedestrian rails

Pedestrian rails are used as reflectors for cars at so they where they are at night. Pedestrian rails normally placed at the end of a footpath.

10. Australia Post Box

This is particularly good for locals because they can send there mail and not have to go to a post office that's not near by.

11. Bus stop in front of tyndale junior school

Bus zone also contains barrier to prevent junior school kids going onto the road. Would be better if kept clean at all times as litter was found around bus stop.

12. Information Sign

This sign tells people who are visiting the area what they can expect to find and has arrows pointing in the direction of where the location is.

13. Student crossing sign

This sign will warn cars to slow down due to students crossing the road. It prevents any accidents from happening that would involve any serious injury, especially kids.

14. Covered speed sign at intersection of road and built up area

The sign was covered because of this it is a hazard because the drivers can not read the speed and could increase the crash and death toll

15. Graffiti

Graffiti was found on post in front of local houses. The presences of the graffiti makes area look bad and unsafe and in a way, represents the locals. More graffiti was found along the way.

16. Beauty appeal of the area

The council of the area have installed a flower bearing vine on a post to improve the look of the area and to make people feel safe around walking in that certain area.

17. Deli

Local Deli contains fish and chip shop, grocery store, hair dresser, Vietnamese Roll store and pizza place. Good for locals and students for after school.
