Points of Interest

1. Kenmay Avenue Footpaths

Footpath wasn't wide enough so wheelchairs and prams wouldn't be able to use it. Meaning that the wheelchairs and prams would have to walk on the road and that is dangerous as they could get run over.

2. Hewett Avenue Footpaths

The footpaths on this street are very wide so that people in wheel-chairs and prams can use it. This also means that they wouldn't have to walk on the road and risk getting run over.

3. Hewett Avenue Overgrown vegetation

On this street there is a lot of overgrown vegetation which is a big tripping hazard. This also means that it would be hard for wheelchairs and prams to get through.

4. Maldon Avenue Pedestrian Crossing

It is very dangerous not to have a zebra crossing here as it is a cross the road from a park so kids could easily get run over if they're not looking.

5. Maldon Avenue Park

This is a big point of interest especially to younger kids. It is not to old and not to young. There are always a lot of kids when I go there. The playground equipment there is well maintained as well.

6. Maldon Avenue Park

This park also has a BBQ great for entertaining purposes. This is really good if your family is spending the whole day there so you can have a BBQ for lunch! Yum!

7. Maldon Avenue Park

This park also has a bin. This is good to keep the environment clean.

8. Bike Path

The historical sign on the bike path would be great for walkers to read but unfortunately it has graffiti all over it so that you can't read it.

9. Maldon Avenue Park

This park has one bad thing in that there are no toilets. This is bad because if a family wants to spend a day there they can't because there is no toilets that you can go to.

10. Childern Crossing sign

This is a great sign to have up because it tells the drivers to slow down when there are children present. It is near a school s that when the kids need to cross to get to school they can.

11. School

There is also a school here. It is a specialised school but is still convenient as the kids who go there might live near the school and be able to walk there.

12. McInerny Avenue

In this street instead of roundabouts they have decided to make the road windy. This is great as it slows down the traffic so that they don't come flying down the street and risk knocking someone over

13. Rubbish/Litter

This is bad as it is a tripping hazard. If someone was to walk down the street and didn't see the trash there they could trip on it and servilely injure themselves. It also just looks really untidy.

14. Trowbridge Park

This park is great as it has wildlife. This park has a duck pond and it is great as it is good for kids to interact with animals. This park also has a bike track that people of all ages can ride on.

15. Trowbridge Park

This park is good as it's bins have dog litter bags. This is great as if the park doesn't have dog bags and the owner leaves the dogs litter there they could get fined quite a lot.

16. Bradley Grove Roundabout

This roundabout is great as it helps to slow down traffic which makes the walkers feel more safe. It is also good to make them go slower so that they dont risk running someone over.

17. Shade

There is a really big tree here that is great for providing shade. It is good to have shade while walking because it is very easy to get hot and sunburnt.

18. Holes

This footpath has holes in it. It is a bad tripping hazard as if you don't see the hole you could trip and get really badly injured. It is also bad as a wheelchair could get stuck in the hole and tip

19. Bradley grove bus stop

This bus stop is a hazard as it blocks walkers view of on coming traffic. As it is in the middle of the footpath and not back off the footpath walkers can't see around it and risk getting run over.

20. Lanark Avenue Kindy

This kindergarten is good to have in the area as if you live near the kindy you can just walk there. It is also nice to know that there is a local kindy around that you can go to.

21. Imformative sign

This street has street signs which is great to let walkers know where to go. It is better to read a sign than use your phone because when you go for a walk you want to get away from electronics.
