Take the boardwalk across Nhill Swamp to the lake circuit walk.
A short boardwalk heads off the main trail to the right leading to a bird hide.
Follow this well-maintained gravel trail around Nhill Lake.
At the end of Campbell Street (alternative starting point with direct vehicle access) you'll find a picnic area and public toilets.
If you prefer to continue walking around the edge of the lake rather than exploring more of the swamp then take the left-hand track which will return you to the lake end of the boardwalk.
This part of the trail runs alongside the inlet creek that feeds storm water from the north-western part of the town into the lake. After crossing the creek, the trail heads back to Jaypex Park.
